8. That Dr. Baxter and Mr. McKenna interview the
Manager of the Tramways Company with
respect to the exhibition of our match bills on
tramcars.
The above recommendations having been considered
the same were confirmed with the exception of
number 4 and in lieu thereof it was resolved that the
price of admission to the Paddock be 1/- as heretofore.
The recommendation that Shareholders (Season Ticket
holders) be granted admission to the Goodison Road
Double Decker, was considered and it was resolved that
arrangements be made to admit Shareholders (Season
Ticket holders) to Block E. of the Goodison Road Double
Decker and that the Season Tickets be endorsed to that
effect. That purchasers must make their election at
the time of purchase, and be informed that such ticket
is available only for the seats designated.
The question of the allocation of the practice match
receipts was deferred. A letter from the Lancashire
F.A. requesting that a portion of such receipts be
granted to their Benevolent Fund was read but as it
was felt that local Charities had a prior claim no action
was taken.
A letter from Mr. F. J. Kirsopp to the Chairman was read and
the Chairman explained that Mr. Kirsopp had interviewed
him requesting an honorarium in respect of the
engagement by us of his son as a professional footballer.
The Secretary was instructed to write Mr. Kirsopp
regretting our inability to make any payment to him
