The Chairman was requested to represent the Club
at a Meeting of the Liverpool Branch of the Prince
of Wales Fund to be held at the Town Hall on the
23rd inst. at 5 O'clock.
The Secretary was instructed to give the Proprietor
of the Official Programme a list of football articles
that have been sent by the Club to the various
Regiments.
The Secretary reported that his Assistant, Fred
Berry, was desirous of offering himself for
enlistment. It was resolved that the Directors
place no obstacle towards the due fulfilment of such
desire and the Secretary was instructed in the event
of his enlistment to pay to his parents, during the
pleasure of the Board, the sum of £1 per week.
The Secretary's proposal to expend the amount of
£23:16:2 (collected on the ground on November 6th,
and subsequent donations) on a football outfit for
the Rev. H. C. Hargreaves, Chaplain to the Forces, and
Footballs, the latter to be distributed to the applicants
already to hand, preference being given to local
Regiments, was confirmed.
