[Meeting of Directors held at the Bradford Hotel
July 14th 1914]

Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and
confirmed.
McFadyen The Secretary was instructed to pay to Preston
North End F.C. £200 the fee for the transfer of
this player.
Gwladys Nos. 2/12 & 14/36. The Secretary referred to the
Street fact that these two lots of property were offered
subject to restrictive covenants as to the mode of
building etc. and reported that he had induced the
Solicitors acting for the Vendors of Nos. 14/36 Gwladys
Street to consent to the insertion of a clause in their
contract agreeing to obtain a release of the said restrictive
covenants so far as they should have power to give same
and so far as the same are now capable of taking
affect not only with respect to Nos. 14/36 Gwladys Street
but with respect to Nos. 2, 4, 6 and 10 Gwladys Street.
That he the Secretary was of opinion that this concession
was as much as could be obtained and that the Directors
would now be quite safe in purchasing these properties for
the objects intended.
Nos. 38/48 Gwladys Street. The Secretary reminded the
