Directors that this property was not affected by the
restrictions referred to as affecting the other properties in
Gwladys Street but that the Vendors stipulated for a
restriction as to the buildings proposed to be erected in
so much as the same might affect the free access of
light and air to other property of the Vendors.
That he, the Secretary, had intimated that the
building to be erected would not be of greater height
than that of the Stand at the Southern end of
our ground and that the frontage to Gwladys Street
would be of as ornate a character as that of our stand
fronting to Goodison Road. He also reported that
the Vendors Solicitors were communicating this
information to their Client and in the meantime they
desired to know the height of such erection and
how far back it was proposed to set the building line.
Mr. Kelly having suggested that the building line
be set back at least 6 feet from the present building
line and that the Vendors be informed that the
erection would not exceed 50 feet in height, it was
resolved that the members of the ground committee
meet at Goodison Park and decide as to the setting
back of the building line and the height of the
proposed new Stand and that thereafter their
decision be communicated to the Vendors Solicitors.
The Secretary was empowered to exchange contracts
in respect of the properties Nos. 2/12 and 14/36

Beare The Secretary reported the receipt of three bills from
Cardiff City as arranged.
