[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park,
September 22nd 1914]
Present All the Directors except Messrs Baxter & Green.
Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and
confirmed.
John Page The Secretary reported having seen Page and that
he had offered Gainsborough Trinity F.C. the sum of
£15 for Page's transfer and that Gainsborough Trinity
had accepted such offer. The Secretary's action
was confirmed.
Athletes The Chairman reported that Liverpool and ourselves
Volunteer Force had jointly arranged to engage an Instructor for
drill and rifle practice and that drilling should be
held at Goodison Park and Anfield alternately on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in each week at
3:30 p.m. each day and that the joint Committee
would meet on Tuesday next at the conclusion of the
first drilling lesson to consider site for Rifle Ranges.
Gwladys The Secretary was instructed to sign contracts on
Street behalf of the Company herein and exchange same
and pay the respective deposits.
Lancashire Cup The Lancashire F.A. and Bury F.C. having agreed to
Everton v Bury play the Tie here on October 7th that date was
confirmed.
Hodge The Secretary reported that Hodge did not play for
Johnstone F.C. on Saturday last.
