Our Liverpool County Cup Tie with Tranmere Rovers,
which we lost by 2 goals to 1, the League, Central
League and Friendly matches were reported.
Dr. Baxter reported that Weller had broken down
whilst training and that Makepeace, Galt and
Jefferis would be unable to play in our Lancashire
Cup Tie against Blackburn Rovers owing to injuries
received at Oldham last Saturday – he expected that
Weller, Makepeace and Jefferis would soon recover
but that Galt would be doubtful for Saturday.
