Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Reports It was reported that Thompson had gone
into a nursing home to have his damaged
cartilage removed.
That Redford had been ordered to rest and
undergo gentle massage.
That Blackledge & Burgess had been
registered with the League.
That Bury's complaint re W. P. Wright had
been dismissed, that Wright had been
asked to elect which club he would play
for & that he had elected to play for us.
That the Commission held an enquiry
into the charge against Anderson of
attempted bribery of our players that G.
Anderson had been suspended sine die
& that the Commission had instructed
Mr. Sutcliffe & W. C. Cuff to prepare a case
for the opinion of eminent Counsel on the
question of criminal proceedings
