& the maximum wage permissible.
Resolved that Mr. Coffey's action be confirmed
& the Secretary forward the transfer form to the
Grimsby Town Club, with Cheque for £25, transfer fee.
Rochdale F.C. Resolved that Cheque for £5.5.0. be
sent to Rochdale Football Club as a donation to
the "D. Crossan's Widow" Fund, in view of the fact
that circumstances prevented this Club allowing
T. Fleetwood to take part in the Benefit Match.
Johnson & Co's. a/c Mr. H. Banks reported his conversation
with Messrs Johnson & Co. regarding the balance of their
account £204.11.4, & their offer to accept £200
in full settlement, without prejudice. A letter
was also read from the said Firm confirming this.
Resolved that £200 be paid in full
settlement of all claims to date, but the Board
do not consider that the allowance made is sufficient.
Chimneys & Mr. H. Banks also reported on the chimneys
Turnstiles of the office, Board Room, &c. which on account of
their structure caused the rooms to be filled with
smoke, when fire were lit, & to remedy same
the cost would be great.
Ordered that the matter be deferred
for the present.
Mr. Banks further reported that he had
made a thorough examination of the turnstile locks
which required overhauling & the Stiles painting.
Resolved that the work necessary be
left over until the end of the Season.

balance of Salary due, viz.:- £17.10.0.
