The minutes of the proceedings at the meetings on
20th & 22nd inst also Finance Committee meeting on
21st inst were read & confirmed.
Finance The Secy reported that the gross gate
at Sheffield on 17th inst. was £1540.7.9, Expenses
£404.15.4 & that our 20% was £227.2.6.
Also that the gross gate at Liverpool
on 10th inst. was £533.2.3, Expenses £157.17.6 and
that our half share was £187.12.4.
Also that the gross gate v N'cle United
on 24th inst. was £2.282.8.0 Entertainments Tax,
Expenses & ½% to League £535.17.2 & the 20% to
N'cle United was £349.6.2.
The Bank Balance was reported to
be £552.9.10 Cr.
Cheques were presented & signed for

Matches } 4-0 & Ellesmere Port 2-0 were received.
Chaplin Messrs Coffey & Halsall gave their reports
Maitland on these two players, & stated that the former
played badly & could not recommend him
