Gibbins & Ors. The Chairman reported that the Directors
Everton F. C. & Secy. had been served with writs regarding
an action for an injunction restraining the
holding of the Extra-ordinary General
Meeting on the 11th inst. He stated he
had instructed Messrs Weightman Pedder & Co.
to appear on behalf of the club and
his action in this was confirmed.
Blair The Secy. reported that this player
(Sheffield Wed.) was on offer and that he had asked
the transfer fee required.
W. Brown The Secy. reported that this player
had happened an accident whilst motor
cycling to L'pool on the 3rd inst. and
read a report from Dr. McMurrick of
Lockerbie as to his condition and stated
that he was in Dumfries Infirmary.
20 Goodison Av. A case of scarlet fever having
occurred here, the Corporation had served
a notice that the Kitchen had been
stripped. It was decided to repaper same.
Bank Mortgage The Mortgage of £20.000 held by
the L. C. & M. Banks was produced a signed.
Practice Match The Chairman reported that as it
receipts ) was necessary to notify the Entertainments
Tax Authorities of the Charities to which
these receipts were to be handed over,
