United F. C. asking if we were prepared to make
an offer for this player. It was agreed that
the Chairman & Secy. proceed to Manchester tomorrow
with power to offer up to £2000 for his transfer.
Scrap Iron &c. It was decided to accept the tender
of Mr. A. Wall for scrap metal on the ground.
J. Belmont A letter from this man re expenses

It was agreed to leave the matter in the
hands of Mr. H. Banks & Secy. to accept the most

agreed that same be refused.
Use of ground Application were received for the
use of the ground on Boxing Day morning
from the N. J. D. & D. SoS. & the Carters & Motormen's
Union. It was agreed to grant same to the
former & to ask the latter if any other
date would be suitable.
