Minutes The Minutes of the Meeting held on
the 18th inst. were read & confirmed.
F. Mitchell The Chairman reported that a deputation
from the Liverpool F.C. desired to attend the
meeting with a view to negotiating for this
player's transfer. It was decided not to accept
a less fee than £1500. The deputation were
then admitted and after discussion made an
offer of £1250 which was not accepted.
Special Training The Chairman reported that he had
given permission for Clennell & Weller to go
with rest of players to Cleveleys. Action confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts v Aston Villa were
reported to be £2453.8.2 gross, Enterts. Tax £506.8.6
& 20% to Aston Villa F.C. £277.11.6.
The amount received from Aston Villa
was £268.0.6.
The Bank Balance was reported to
be £8683.18.11 Dr.
