Minutes The Minutes of Directors & Finance Committee
Meetings held on the 13th inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts v B'gham Res. on the
17th inst. were reported to be £84.17.10 gross Tax £21.3.9.
The Bank Balance was £8289.18.0 Dr.
Cheques were signed for the following
Collector of Customs & Excise Enterts. Tax £21.3.9.
T. H. McIntosh Wages &c. £350.0.0.
L'pool London & Globe Insce. Co. 3rd pty. Green Lane £7.0.0.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported all players
fit except Crossley.
Dr. Broad's Report Dr. Broad reported that Crossley would
require another weeks rest and that he would
be ready to resume training next week, also
that Jones was now fit again.
Reports of matches Reports were received of the matches
v B'gham 1-1, B'gham Res. 1-3 & Burscough R. 2-2.
Reports re Players Messrs Green & the Secy. reported that with
Irvine (Dunmurry) the Chairman they had watched this player
and reported very favorably of him. The club
had asked for a fee of £1000, but that we
had made a counter offer of £400 with an
extra £100 if he played in 6 matches this season.
The matter would be brought before the Dunmurry
Club and on receipt of their reply, it was decided
to call a meeting of the full Board to discuss the matter.
