Minutes The Minutes of Directors & Finance Committee
Meetings held on the 20th inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts v Arsenal on 24th inst.
were reported to be £1857.17.9 gross Tax £391.6.5.
The 20% from Birmingham was £196.12.10.
Bank Balance £9806.16.11 Dr.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported all players
fit except Crossley & it was agreed to leave
the latter player in Dr. Baxter's hands to
arrange for him to see Dr. McMurray.
Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches
v Arsenal 1-1, Blackpool Res. 0-2 & Sutton Commercial 3-1
& Rylands 1-1.
Reports re Players Mr. J. Craig reported favorably on
McPartlin (Bellshill) this player & it was decided he watch him
again.
Ryan (Macclesfield) Mr. J. McGill reported unfavourably on
this players display at Harrowby.
Kershaw (Wigan) Mr. J. Fare reported that this player
was of no use to us.
Jones (B'gham Works) Mr. J. Fare reported very favorably
on this player & it was decided to see him again.
He also spoke favorably of the inside left
of the Birmingham Works team.
R. Irvine Secy. reported that he had signed
this player on up to 6th May 1923 at £5
