meeting held on the 8th inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The following gate receipts were reported
wed Hospital Cup Semi-final & net £19.7.11 tax £6.7.6
v Garston Gas Works gross £12.3.11 tax £2.8.6
Half gate from Wigan Boro Res. = £5.12.1
Bank Balance £9365.4.8 Dr.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported all players fit
Reports of matches Reports were received of the matches
v Liverpool 1-1 & Garston Gas Works 3-1.
Report re Players Mr. H. Makepeace reported that this
Brown(Kettering) player was not of the required standard.
Chester v Connahs Quay Mr. J. Fare reported that none of the
players in this match were of required standard.
Unemployed The Chairman reported on the joint
meeting of our Club & the L.pool club regarding
the donation to the unemployed when it
was decided that our money be allocated
as follows Stadium Unemployed £100.
Charges Unemployment fund £100 & Mayor of
Bootle Unemployed Fund £50. This was confirmed.
Cresswell A letter was read from the S. Shields
F. C. Stating that £6000 would be the transfer
fee required for this player. Decided that a
further action be taken.
