[Special Meeting of Directors held
at the Bradford Hotel Liverpool
on Friday 13th Jany. 1922]
Present Mr. A. Coffey (Chair)
& all other Directors except Mr. W. C. Cuff.
D. Reid Secy. reported that Preston N. E. had
asked if we were prepared to part with this
player. It was decided to offer him to
them at a fee of £4000. A deputation from
P. N. E. attended & made an offer of £2000, but
as business was done.
Davison Secy. was instructed to proceed to
(D'ham City) Durham to watch this player & if satisfied
to endeavour to arrange for his transfer
up to a fee of £750.
Team v Bolton Secy. reported that Fern & Brown were
unfit to play, and it was decided to
play Salt (goal), Peacock (R. H.) & Hart L. H.
Players on Transfer Transfer lists from the Chelsea &
Bury clubs were brought forward, but no
action was taken.
Friendly match It was decided to accept the offer
of the Chelsea F. C. to play friendly match
on their ground on Cup tie terms on 28th inst.
Brown (Clyde) Letter read from Clyde F. C. asking
£5000 for this player. No action taken.
D. Reid This player granted leave from 14 to 17th inst.
