Wedding Present It was decided to apply to the League
for permission to grant G. W. Jones a wedding
present in kind up to the value of £20.
Player to watch It was decided that Secy. proceed
to S. Shields to watch Cup tie. S. Shields v
Durham City & at same time to make enquiries
from the Shields club as to their players
Wood & Cresswell.
League Minutes Secy. read minutes of the Football
League in which Chedgzoy, Fleetwood &
Grenyer's benefits had been increased to
£650, the players themselves to pay their own
Income Tax, but it was agreed to record
the fact that this amount was not to be
taken as a precedent & that in future the
amounts of benefits may be varied in
accordance with the Income Tax.
The League had also granted us
permission to pay S. Davies the sum of £81
as presumed accrued share of benefit on
his transfer to W. Bromwich also that we
could pay J. Clennell his amount in same
proportion and on same dates as Cardiff
City were to pay us.
Proposed Tour A letter was read from Mr. Munro
of Inverness asking if we would be prepared
to tour the North of Scotland at end of
Season, but it was decided to leave the
matter over until later on.
L'pool Schools F. A. A letter of thanks was read from
this Assocn. for granting them the use of the
ground on 4th inst.
Sheldon F. C. Letter read from this Club offering any
of their players. Decided to take no actions.
