[Special Meeting of Directors held
at Goodison Park Liverpool on
Wednesday 15th March 1922]
Present Mr. A. Coffey (Chair) Messrs. W. C. Cuff, E. Green,
C. E. Dickinson, H. Banks, W. C. Gibbins & A. R. Wade.
Leddy & Garrett Secy. reported that the transfer of these
2 players to Chesterfield F. C. at £1000 had been
completed.
Brewster A deputation from the Stoke F. C. attended
the meeting, but stated they would let us
have their decision re this player tomorrow.
L'pool County Cup It was reported that Bury F. C. were
prepared to alter date of C. L. match for a sum
of £100. Mr. Patterson on behalf of the L'pool F. C. &
Mr. Grant on behalf of the L'pool County F. A.
having agreed to this being a first charge
on the gate, the proposal was agreed to.
Jackson A. The Wigan F. C. having agreed to take
this player: it was agreed they have permission
to approach him. It was afterwards stated
that player would not agree to go.
Fazackerley Chairman reported that this player had
objected to losing 1 weeks wages, but it was decided
to defer the question until next meeting.
