Minutes The Minutes of Meeting held on the 28th
inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The following gate receipts were reported
Mar. 29 v Port Vale Res. gross £124.2.8 Tax £31. 0.7
Apl. 1 v Bradford City Res. £107.1.8 " £26.15.5
Secy. reported that Cardiff City F.C. had
paid the balance of interest viz. £10.17.6
& that Chesterfield F.C. had paid the
first instalment of £250 for transfer of Leddy & Garratt.
The half gate from St. Helens Junct. was £2.18.2
Bank Balance £3635.15.6 Dr.
Reports of matches Reports were received of the matches v
Chelsea 0-1, Bradford City Res. 1-0 & St. Helens Jct. 6-0.
Chedgzoy Secy. reported that this player had acted
contrary to orders in London on Friday night. He
appeared before the Board & after hearing his
explanation & on his giving a guarantee as to
his obeying orders in future no further action was taken.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported Crossley & Fazackerley
unfit & that Moffat would commence light training
this week.
