Windermere on Saturday 5th Augt. 1922]
Present Messrs W. C. Cuff (Chair), H. Banks, A. Coffey,
W. C. Gibbins, W. J. Sawyer & A. R. Wade.
Practice Match The following teams were selected for
the practice match on 14th inst.
Blues Fern
Downs Livingstone
Peacock Brewster Hart
Jones Fazackerley Irvine Williams Harrison
Whites Salt
Raitt Weller
Brown Fleetwood Reid
Parry Miller Forbes Jackson Alford
Cowan v Troup Mr. W. J. Sawyer was asked to ascertain
(Dundee) the dates of Dundee F. C. practice matches & it
was decided that Mr. J. Fare be sent to watch same
re these players and a further deputation consisting
of the Chairman & Messrs W. J. Sawyer & H. Banks
was appointed to proceed to Dundee late, &
if the players were satisfactory to proceed
to negotiate for their transfers at a joint
fee of £2500 with powers to go to a little
higher figure if necessary.
Next Meeting Ordered that next meeting be held at
Goodison Park on Monday 14th inst. after practice
match.
