Lancashire Cup It was agreed to play 2nd round v
Bury on our ground on Monday 24th Septr.
Lpool Senior Secy reported he had met the Liverpool
Cup officials & had agreed with them to suggest
to the Lpool County FA the following terms for
these ties viz 50% of net gates in Semifinals to
the FA & the remainder to be pooled & divided
between the 4 competing clubs. 33 1/3% of net gate
in Final to FA & 2 competing clubs. 1st Ties
to be played before end of December & Final
on a date suitable to the clubs engaged.
Also that we do not enter a team in Medal
Competition or allow use of ground for same.
This was confirmed.
Clennell An application from Cardiff City FC for
permission for this player to train on our ground
was not entertained.
Furnishing It was decided to purchase a carpet
for the Tea Room & Messrs H Banks & A R Wade were
deputed to do so.
It was also decided to have the seats
in Directors Box (116) upholstered at a cost of

5/6 each by Mr J Lewis.
The Chairman stated that Mr A Coffey who
was absent, had instructed the Secy to inform
the Board that he was opposed to the expenditure.
R E Blundell An application from this man to be
re-instated as gateman was not entertained.
Complimentary The list of these was gone through & it
Tickets was decided to issue same as last season
except to substitute J Taylor for C Waddington.
It was also decided to issue each
player & member of staff 1 Gents & 1 Ladies ticket
& also to issue, at Secy's discretion not more
