Present Mr. W. C. Cuff (Chair) & all other Directors except
Dr. J. C. Baxter.
Wilson (M'bro) Secy. reported having heard from M'bro
that they were now prepared to part with this
player. The club had had an offer of over
£4000, but they preferred if possible to have
an exchange for our player Peacock. After
discussion it was decided that we do not
enter into further negotiations for the transfer
of Wilson.
Downs Letter read from this player re his
injury. Decided that Secy. consult Dr. Baxter
as to making an appointment for him to be
examined by Dr. McMurray.
Peacock It was reported by Mr. W. C. Gibbins that
this player had made objectionable remarks to
the captain last Saturday & it was also mentioned
that he had stated the M'bro F.C. had made
enquiries about him. Decided that he appear
before the Board at their next meeting & that
D. Reid also attend.
