Reports re Players Secy reported that the former had again
Davies & Deacon (Swansea) played well v Southend & he had interviewed the
Chairman & Secy of the club. It was decided to write
asking for first refusal of the former should they
decide to part. The latter did not play owing to injury.
Latheron (Ferryhill) J Fare reported that he did not consider
this player good enough for us.
Pape (Notts C) H Makepeace reported favorably on this
player & suggested he be seen again.
Kendall & Pringle Mr W. J. Sawyer reported very favorably on the
(Lincoln City) former, but unfavorably on the latter. He reported
also that he thought the former could be obtained
for about £1500.
Brown (Tranmere R) Secy stated that the club were likely to
part with this player but it was decided to take
no action.
Vacant dates Mr A R Wade's motion that the question be re-opened
was discussed but it was again decided not to
play any friendly matches consequently the application
of Army FA., Partick Thistle v Bristol Rovers FCs were
not entertained.
