Hardy (Stockport Cty.) Secy. reported that on instructions received
by the Directors present on the 11th inst. he had
interviewed the club re probable transfer of this
goalkeeper. He stated they were not prepared
to consider an exchange of players, but they
were prepared to accept a fee of £3500.
Secy. was instructed to write stating that this
price precluded us negotiating, and asking what
the rock bottom fee required was.
England v Ireland Secy. reported that Chedgzoy (England)
& J. Elliott (Trainer England)
& Irvine (Ireland) ^ had been selected for this
match & necessary permission to do so was granted.
Mold F. C. This club having applied for permission
to approach T. C. Stephenson, it was decided that
player be informed he could play for any club
when his services were not required by us.
L'pool Hospital Cup Agreed to grant use of Goodison Park
for this Final on Wed. Decr. 10th.
Peacock's Benefit Secy. reported that the Football League
had asked what amount of benefit we were
prepared to give this player, the information
being required for purpose of loan. Decided to
inform them that it would not be less than £350.
S. African F. A. Letter read asking if we could play
them on our ground on Decr. 3rd. Agreed to
do so on half net gate terms.
Report re Players Mr. H. Halliday reported that he did not
