Journey to Cardiff It was decided to travel to Cardiff
by the 2.45 pm. train on Friday v return on Sat. night.
Gallacher & Russell Secy. reported that he had met the
(Airdrieonians) officials of this club who stated they would
be prepared to part with these players. It
transferred, however, that the latter had been
transferred to day & the Board decided not to
negotiate for the former at present.
Theatre Adv'ts Agreed to give the Empire Olympia
& Hippodrome Theatres to have advertising boards
round the ground as in previous years.
Cinema Right Applications having been received from
Pathi Freres, Gaumont Co. & Topical Budget for
permission to take pictures of our matches during
the season was refused. Secy. reported that this
was in accordance with the Liverpool F. C.
Sale of Newspaper A similar decision was come to re
an application from L'pool Daily Post & Echo for
C. boys to be allowed to sell newspapers on the
ground during matches.
Broadcasting Letter read from Radis Co. asking if we
would not with L'pool F. C. to allow our players
to give an entertainment on Oct 5th. Left in
hands of Secy. to interview the players & if
they were agreeable, The Board had no objection.
Motor Mower It was agreed that the Ground Committee
ask the Atco Co. to give a demonstration on
the ground.
Shareholders Invitations} It was decided to grant 10 shareholders
to Directors Box} per 1st team league match with a double ticket
for Directors Box starting from A's & Y's.
R Fairfoul Secy. stated that we were still in
negotiations with this player.
