Turnbull (Ashington) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that he did not
consider this player of the standard required.
Millington (Willenhall) Messrs W. C. Gibbins & D. Kirkwood reported
Picken (Wellington) favorably of the former. Mr. Gibbins also
spoke well of Picken but Mr. Kirkwood thought
he was too old for us.
Welsh Player Messrs A. R. Wade & J. Fare reported that there
were no outstanding players in the match
for Meredith's benefit at Colwyn Bay.
Hardy It was agreed that the Chairman
enquire if Menham was likely to be available
for all our matches, & if so we proceed no
further with the proposed transfer of this player,
but if not, we sign him on at terms stated
at last meeting.
