Livingstone} The Chairman reported that at the conclusion
Batten } of the match v M/c City, Mr. R. Jack Manager of
Plymouth Argyle had expressed the desire for the
transfer of Kerr and stated that the matter was
urgent owing to numerous injuries & to their desire
for promotion. That their request had been declined
& the name of Livingstone suggested as being more
likely to achieve their object, & that without having
seen Livingstone play, Argyle F. C. had concluded
negotiations & had obtained the transfer of
Livingstone at a fee of £1250 & that it had been
