Exchange Station Hotel on
Thursday July 29th 1926]
Present Messrs W. C. Cuff (Chair), A. Coffey, H. Banks
W. J. Sawyer, J. Sharp, W. C. Gibbins.
Trainer Mr. Cuff reported that he had received a
letter from Mr. H. Docherty that he was unable
to obtain his release from the Fulham F. C. &
that he along with Mr. Banks had gone through
the list of applicants again & invited Messrs
W. H. Studden, B. Smith & C. Hollidge to attend
that evening, after the interview it was decided
to appoint Mr. B. Smith to the position of Assistant
Trainer under Mr. H. E. Cooke at a weekly wage
of £5. Smith to reside in Liverpool near the
ground.
New Stand Letter read from Mr. Leitch in respect to this,
also Certificate in favour of Messrs Francis,
Morton & Co. Ltd. for £6000.0.0 on account
of Steel Works supplied & it was decided to
leave the ordering of Turnstiles with Mr. Leitch.
Covers for Seats Tenders were opened for these Coverings.

Training The Secretary was instructed to make
arrangements for doing some of the training
at the A' Team Ground & engaged a Bus
to take the Players from Goodison Park
& return.
