re absence from training. After hearing their
statements it was decided to severely reprimand
both players.
F. A. Cup Replay In the event of our match & the L'pool
match ending in draws, it was decided to
toss for choice of date for replay & if successful
to fix it for Wed. 4th Feb. It was also
agreed to book the Shareholders & Members Stands
Ballens Rd. & Block F, Goodison Rd. at 3/6 &
the whole of goal double decker & remainder
of Goodison Rd. Stand at 2/4.
Arrangements for Letter read stating that the Central
S'land Journey Station Hotel N'Cle could not accommodate
us. It was therefore decided to stay at the
N. E. Hotel Darlington.
Reports re Players Mr. H. Makepeace & Secy. reported that this
Jones (Blackpool) player seemed to be lacking in powers of tackling
but otherwise was good.
D'ton v Cardiff City Favorable reports were given of O'Donnell,
Dickson & Scott of D'ton & Secy. was instructed to
enquire as to whether the Club would part
with the first named.
Wolves v Hull City The Chairman & Mr. A. Coffey reported
that Mills (C. F) was not too good, but that
Philipson (wolves) & Gibson (Hull) were both good.
Yearsley (Northwich) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that he did
not consider this player up to C. L. standard.
Cresswell (S'land) Letter read from S'land F. C. stating
that they were prepared to transfer this player
for £4000. No action taken.
Enquiries re Secy. reported having enquiries from
Players the M'bro. Stoke & Oldham Athletic F. C's asking
if we were prepared to part with inside forwards.
