Motor Cycling An application from Randolph & Dean
for use of ground from Apl. to Oct. for motor
cycle racing was not entertained.
Report re Players Secy. reported that the S. Shields F.C. were
Oxberry (S. Shield) not prepared to take less than £3500 for this
player's transfer.
Mr. E. Green reported that he could not
recommend the player on his display at Fulham.
Gregg (D'ton) Mr. A. R. Wade reported unfavourably of this
player, also Marshall (Southport) but spoke
very favourably of Tait (C. F. Southport).
Meston (Gillingham) Mr. D. Kirkwood give a favourable report
of this player.
Scottish Players Mr. J. Weir's report on Scottish players
was read.
Northern Players Mr. W. Laine reported very favorably of
Harrison & Barker (Cockfield) & Brown (S. Bank E. E.).
Complimentary} A Circular from the League re issue of
Tickets } Complimentary tickets to visiting clubs was read
and it was decided that we make the following
recommendation:-
(1) The total abolition of the issue of tickets to players
for their friends.
(2) The issue of say 14 tickets for admission of
players only to ground & dressing room.
(3) The issue of 24 tickets to Visiting club, at least
12 of these to be for Directors Box, but this not
to apply in case of local 'Derbies' between two
teams in one town.
