Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that he was not too
Matthews (Mold) impressed with this goalkeeper, but that Ferguson
(O. R.) had played well.
Blyth Players Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not
consider any of these players of the standard
required.
Congleton v Northwich Mr. J. Elliott gave a very favorable
report of Chesters (C. F.) & Dudley (G. K.) of Northwich Vic.
also that he had heard good accounts of
Rhodes (C. F.) Congleton.
Ball (Chorley) Mr. J. McGill gave a very good report
of this player.
Douglas (Bedlington) Mr. W. Laine reported that this player
was a very promising Centre half.
Walker (St. Mirren) Mr. J. Weir gave a report of these two
Hart (Hamilton) players but Secy. was instructed to ask
him to look for promising junior C. H.
Schools F. A. An application from this Association
for use of ground in Jany. was deferred until
next meeting.
Burglary Secy. reported that a burglary had
taken place during the week end and that
certain damage had been done & several
minor articles stolen. He had notified the
Police & also put a claim in to the Insurance Co.
Transfer of Shares The following transfer was approved
M. M. Davies to J. S. H. Davies 1 share No 1394.
James (Preston) Secy. reported that he had heard that
this player was likely to be transferred, but
the Board decided they were not interested.
