Williams (Brighton) Mr. E. Green gave a good report of this player
but suggested he be seen again against stronger opposition.
Goldsmith (Hull C.) Mr. J. Fare reported that this back was not
good enough for us, but spoke well of Glidden &
Carter (W. Brom.) & Bell (Hull City).
Aberdeen Players Mr. J. Weir gave good reports of Love (O. R.)
Hill (L. H.) & Legge (F. B.).
Leith Players Mr. J. Bell gave good reports of Steele (G. K.)
Robinson (L. H.) & Nicol (C. F.)
Cottrill (Durham) Mr. J. Elliott gave a poor report of this
full back.
Gee (Stockport C.) Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a very good report
of this half back.
Notts County Players Mr. J. McGill gave good reports of Mills (F. B.)
Dowsey (H. B.) & Davies (O. R.).
Northwich Players W. Dean gave a poor report of Denthorn
(L. H.) but a good report of the inside left.
F.A. Cup 3rd Rd. Secy. reported that we had been drawn
against Carlisle United (away). It was decided
to ask for 25% of reserved tickets & 20 Complimentary
tickets.
C. L. match v L'pool Secy. stated that as L'pool had been drawn
at home in F.A. Cup on 11th Jany., our C. L. match on
that date had been postponed.
Donations Agreed to grant £2.2.0 each to Bootle
Poor Kiddies Xmas Treat & Everton Ex-service Men's
Children's Treat.
Hospital 1d in £ scheme It was agreed to adopt this scheme
with regard to our ground staff.
