Hart reported that Hunt was promising Stockport Players but he thought he would be better at C. F. Cousins (Chesterfield) was a hard worker. Gee (Stockport) played a very good game but tired towards the end & Fielding (Stockport) whilst unorthodox was good. Mr. J. Fare also reported that Hunt was very promising. Davies & Lloyd Mr. J. Fare also gave a very good report (Bradford) of the former, but a moderate report of the latter, Hartill (Wolves) and that Hartill was speedy, well set up & useful. Adams (Tranmere) Messrs W. C. Gibbins & J. Fare reported that this was a very promising player. Holmes (Prescot) Mr. J. Elliott gave a good report of this C. H. Lowe (Southport) Mr. T.
