Reports re Players Messrs J. Sharp & Secy. gave favourable
Beeson & Bicknell reports of these two backs, but it was reported
that the former had been transferred to
Sheffield Wednesday.
Parry & Slater Mr. W. C. Gibbins gave fairly good
(Stalybridge) reports of these two players.
Sagar Messrs H. Banks & J. Fare gave excellent
reports of this goalkeeper & it was agreed
to offer him £4 per week to end of Season
with £10 signing on fee.
Burgess (Stockport) Mr. J. Elliott gave a very good report
of this inside left.
Scottish Players Mr. J. Weir's report was read wherein
he stated Crapnell (Airdrieonians) was a
good back.
Northern Players Mr. W. Laine gave a good report of
Nainby (R. H.) of N'cle. United.
Roberts (Bromborough) Mr. J. McGill gave a good report of
this outside left.
Jubilee Banquet The Sub Committee reported that they
had secured the Philharmonic Hall for £52.10.0

and accept the menu of Messrs Reece & Son at 8/9.
They were empowered to carry out the arrangements
on the lines indicated in the general discussion
as to guests & the Banquet generally.
Morris Dancers An offer from the Aughton Belles to give
a performance on the ground was not accepted.
