re. Jones. Agreed to ask them to leave matter over
until we saw how he progressed during next Season.
W. Crompton (Blackburn Rovers) Mr. R. Crompton having approached us with regard
to signing on this player, it was decided to take
no action.
J. Miller An application from this ex-player for a
situation or a money grant was not acceded to.
League Cup Permission was granted for this to be exhibited
by the following tradesmen for 1 week each.
J. Sharp, Turmeaus Ld., Watson & Prickard, and
Boodle & Dunthorne.
Letters of Congratulation It was decided that all those who
had written letters &c be thanked through the
Press, except Lord Derby whom the Chairman
would write to.
