Chambers (Halifax) Mr. J. Elliott reported that this C. F. had
played very well & was worth following up.
Thompson (Spennymoor) Mr. W. Laine gave another good report of this C. F.
but stated he required a position as School master.
Johnson (B. P. Auckland) He also gave an excellent of this C. H. B.
who was 19 or 20 & big.
Renwick Mr. J. Fare reported that this C. F. had played
(Albion Rovers) a very useful game , quick on his feet, distributed the
ball well & good in the air. He was at 27 & 11st.
Proposed Presents} Chairman reported that the F. A. had
to Players} turned down the project suggested by the Evening Express.
Marconiphone Letter read that a switch fuse could be
supplied at a cost of 5/-. Decided to order one.
Hampson (Blackpool) Letter read stating that club were not prepared
to part with this player at present, but would
let us know if position altered in the future.
Allied Newspapers Letter read asking permission for our players
Dean & Cresswell to contribute articles to the Evening
Chronicle. Decided to agree to this subject to the
Articles being perused by the Secy. before publication.
Photos Proofs of the F. A. Cup team & the whole of
the players were submitted & approved. Decided
to order 1 for each person on the groups & 1 each
for Directors & Secy. from Mr. F. A. Fyfe.
Thomsons Weekly This paper was granted permission to take
a photo of the team prior to K. O. in match on Sat. next.
New Posters A copy of the Arsenal F. C. poster was submitted
& it was left to the Chairman & Secy. to deal with
the matter.
Broadcasting It was decided to inform the League
that we were not in favor of the broadcasting
of matches.
Journey to Derby It was agreed to travel by 12.30 pm. train
on 30th inst. & return by the 9.0 pm. train from Derby.
