if they were prepared to pay £2,500 for the transfer of
C. Leyfield.
Wolves Players Discussions between Mr. Oakley of Wol-
verhamton Wanderers F. C. & our representatives, were re-

that his Board should consider our request for the
transfer of Morris & Thompson to us, having regard
to the fact that we might consider the transfer to
them of Geldard.
Payne (Luton) Mr. E. Green gave his views of this players
ability. He thought that with his physical attributes
& shooting powers, there were possibilities about him,
although he had not done much in the game apart
from scoring twice.

be any chance of obtaining any of the aforementioned
players, deputation be appointed to negotiate the
transfers.

for next Season, & it was decided that we offer him
£2 a week until 7th May, 1938, with £1 extra per week
when playing in any team.
