		Lawton, Stevenson, Boyes.

Robinson (Wedy.)	Mr. E. Green stated that he thought this man
		a very good player, clever & dainty, but that he had no thrust,
		He might be an acquisition in a good side. He was not too
		enamoured of Catlin.

Tagg (Crewe)		Dr. C. S. Baxter stated that this player
		had had few opportunities. He appeared slow, but might
		turn out to be a good player eventually.

McAvoy (K'marnock)	Mr. H. Hart could not recommend this
		I. L., but Mr. Cochrane gave a very good report of him.

Shareholders Assocn.	It was reported that this Association
		had been formed, & that its object was apparently obscure,
		at the moment.

B. B. C. Suggestions	It was agreed that we offer no objection
		to the suggested proposals of the B. B. C. regarding the
		broadcasting of reports of a limited number of matches
		during each Football Season.

F.A. Cup Final		Secy. was instructed to allocate
		our allotment by a quota of 1 ? 11 to each Director.

Scotland v England	It was agreed that we release ?
		of our Scottish born players for this match on the
		9th April, at Wembley Stadium.

Stourbridge F.C.	Request to send a team to play in a
		benefit match, was not entertained.

New Brighton F.C.	Letter read from Mr. W. J. Sawyer asking
		whether our 1st team could play in a benefit match
		for himself on 2nd May. Although favorably disposed,
		the Board were unable, at this particular juncture,
		to give a decided reply.

Letters of Thanks	These were read from the Institute
		for the Blind, & the Business Houses Association.

Rating Assessment (84)	Mr. Isaac Dixon's letter was read, pro-
		posing a nett increase of £363 due to the New Stand
		erection. These figures were approved & agreed upon.
