Williams (Shrewsbury)	Mr. J. R. Powell's letter was read, detailing
		this C. F.'s record.

Laidler (Barrow)	Mr. R. Bentham gave a poor report
		of this O. L. who was 18, 5'6", & 10 st. 2 lbs.

New Players		It was agreed that the Secretary
		be empowered to engage as professionals at the
		most advantageous terms, the following amateurs:-
		Barber, Burnett & Prescott.

Southend Utd. F.C.	An invitation from this Club, to
		play a benefit match for their trainer, was declined.

Collection		Permission was granted to the Boy
		Scouts Fund to take a collection at our ground.

Transfer of Shares	Following transfers were approved:-
		Share No. 1 from G. M. Garner to G. H. Garner.
		Shares Nod. 194-196 from W. E. I. Hudson to J. Hudson.

W. Gunn			Letter read from this Shareholder, &
		it was decided that the Sec'y take legal advice.

Letters of Thanks	These were read from Lord Elgin,
		A. Geldard & F. Laidman.

Time & Place of Meeting	It was agreed that this be decided
		from week to week.

Players to Watch	Mr. E. Green to see Carey.
			Messrs W. C. Gibbins & W. R. Williams to see
		Holliday (Brentford).

Cunliffe		Dr. C. S. Baxter reported that the
		Millwall F.C. had enquired regarding the possibility
		of the transfer of this player.

Trentham		It was agreed that this player be
		offered £5/10/- per week as a full time professional.

Next Meeting		Tuesday, 20th Sept. at 6 p.m., at
		Goodison Park.

Presentation of		A photo was presented by the joint officer
Photo		of the 5th King's L'pool & the L'pool
		Scottish Battalions. This was accepted
		& Secy. was instructed to thank
		those concerned.
