Minutes of Meetings of August 5th 1940 & September 21st 1940 were read & confirmed. Finance Secretary reported that our 3½% War Stock had been sold at 1033/8, less Commission of £18.15.0 & Stamp Duty 10.0, leaving the Nett figure of £7733.17.6 which had been credited to our account by the Midland Bank Ltd. with effect from 7th January, 1941. Fire Watching Order It was agreed that the Secretary make arrangements to have the estate duly guarded under the terms of this Emergency Order & that he should arrange for 2 watchers for the maximum of £4 each per week; & should obtain the required accessories for the purpose. Transfer of Shares Following transfers of Shares were approved. Shares Nod. 190, 1399, 1400 from Xors. W. H. Lawson to Messrs Martins Bank, Ltd. & others. do 855 to 859, 1304 from W. J. Parker to D.
