Mr. R. E. Searle arrived later, having been delayed.
Minutes of Meeting & Finance Meeting
of 21st Decr. 1943 were read & confirmed.
Finance Cheques were signed for:-
Customs & Excise £323. 7. 3
Football League £ 12.19. 4
Chester F.C. £256.17.10
Bank Balance £21,003.14.7 Dr.
H. Jones It was agreed that this player's wife
be sent 10/- each week to the end of the season,
for disposal to the player's good & that an amount
of £6/10/- in addition be forwarded to cover the
lapsed period since the former resolution of
Sept. 21, 1943. This matter to again be reviewed
at the conclusion of the current season.
Chorley F.C. Secy. reported that the Manchester
Clubs & L'pool F.C. were not donating anything
for this Lancashire Combination Club's appeal. It
was agreed that the Secy. note the F.A.'s action
in this matter & report back to the Board at
that time.
205, Walton Lane It was reported that this property
would shortly be in the market & Secy. was instructed
to buy it to a price of £650 maximum; if the price
were higher than this to report back to the Board.
