Present:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins (Chair), E. Green, C. S. Baxter M. D.,
G. Evans, J. P., W. R. Williams, R. R. Turnbull, R. E. Searle C. C. & Secy.
Minutes of Meetings held on the 16th inst., were
read & confirmed.
Finance Bank Balance £24,489.19.7 Dr.
Chairman It was decided that the election of
Chairman be postponed until the next meeting.
Mr. R. E. Searle proposed that consideration be
given to selection finally being made by secret.
ballot. Messrs Green, Baxter, Turnbull & Searle stated their desire
not to be considered for the position this year.
Subsidiary Committees & Quorum
also deferred.
Central League It was agreed that we re-enter
this proposed Competition.
Fire Guards Secy. was instructed to apply for
permission to employ our present Fire Guards, as
part time Professional Guards.
Entertainment Tax Secy. was instructed to write the
Football League, asking them to press for an issue
whereby football would come within the Schedule
of Living Performers.
McIntosh J. Secy. reported that Preston Nth. End were
resuming in the Football League, & required the
services of this player.
