Robertson (Yoker A.) Mr. E. Green reported that this O. R. had played
at C. H. He was about 20, nicely built, & good enough
player to be worth seeing in his own position.
Decided that Mr. John Morrison be
asked to watch him.
Watson (H'field) Secy. reported that this winger was for
transfer at £10,000. Decided that we had no interest
at this price.
N. E. Players Mr. W. Laine reported well of Varty (190)
& Ardron, but did not recommend McCormick (165), for
character reasons.
Team v Blackburn Suggested alternatives & team in
principle were approved.
Purvis B. Reported that the transfer had been
