THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE
Re-seeding. That Mr. Britton be given authority to purchase the
necessary seed, soil and fertilizer for re-seeding
during the summer months.
W. H. Cooke & That these employees be given a rise of £1 per
K. F. Busby. week each.
Mr. C. S. That the Board consider the rescinding of the minute
Britton. granting Mr. Britton a bonus.
Mr. C. S. That the Board consider inaugurating a suplimentary
Britton. bonus scheme in favour of Mr. Britton, at a cost of
£142/17/2 per annum for a period of 14 years.
Season That the price of season tickets remain at 5 guineas
Tickets each as last year and that the ordinary seasonal
complimentary tickets be brought into Blocks 'D' and
'E' instead of Gwladys Street.
Fire That the fire cover on the four stands be doubled
Insurances. pending further information as to present day values.
Bullens Road It was agreed that repairs be carried out at a cost of
Stand. £43 at the back of the passage on the Bullens Road
Stand, to prevent water seeping through on the
turnstiles below.
T. Eglington It was agreed to provide a hut for storage purposes
for this player at a cost of £23, subject to permission
being obtained from the local County Council.
Rotor The purchase of a Rotor Machine for seed bed preparing
Machine at a cost of £135 was considered. As it would only
be used once per year it was agreed that this work
could be done by hiring a machine when required.
Tennis It was reported that only one offer had been made for
Courts the tenancy of the tennis courts at Bellefield from
Lucas Sports Club of £50 per annum and it was agreed
that these be re-advertised.
