[Meeting held at Exchange Hotel
Friday Feb. 24th 1956]
Present :- Mr. E. Green (Chair) and
all other Directors. Manager & Secretary
in attendance.
Minutes of Meeting of Feb.
14th, 15th and 23rd were read and
confirmed.
Acting Manager It was resolved to rescind the
207 Minute of Feb. 7th, appointing Mr. H. R.
Pickering Acting Manager during the
absence of the Manager on the American
Tour.
Manager Mr. Britton replied to the letter sent
212, 56 by the Board, and then stated that he
could walk out of the Meeting and
could ruin the reputation of every
Director, and referred to them as
despicable men. At this junctions
Mr. Britton left the Meeting.
Mr. Bryson was called into
the Meeting, and he stated that he
thought the rescinding of the minute
mentioned above removed the alleged
Breach of Contract, and that if Mr.
Britton walked out, he thought that
would constitute a Breach of Contract
on Mr. Britton's part.
Mr. Green, at the request of
the Board, went to see Mr. Britton,
and explained Mr. Bryson's views, and
Mr. Green, on his return, reported that
Mr. Britton had stated that he would
take no further part in the Management
