L'POOL SENIOR CUP It was reported that the Semi-Final
180 of this competition had been arranged at
Southport on Tuesday next March 17th at 3 p.m.
SCOTTISH F. A. It was noted that Parker & Collins
259 had been selected to play against the Scottish
League on Monday March 16th. It was agreed
that Mr. Micklesfield should represent the Club
and that Mr. Carey should also see the Match.
Mr. Askham dissented against the decision
that a Director should represent the Club.
WIGAN ATHLETIC It was agreed to send a team to
208 play at Wigan on Apl. 27th, as agreed when
Bramwell was transferred to us.
G. KIRBY. It was reported that Sheffield Wed.
247 had made an offer of £8,000.0.0. for the
transfer of this player and it was resolved
unanimously that the offer be accepted.
L'POOL SCHOOLS F. A. Applications for the use of Goodison Park
262 by the Schools F. A. for Wed. March 18th and
the Grammar Schools on Monday March 16th
were considered.
GRAMMAR SCHOOLS The Pitch Committee recommended that a
254 maximum of two games per week be played
and that the Schools F. A. application be
approved and that of the Grammar Schools
be approved for a later date, which was
agreed to.
QUEENS INSTITUTE A letter was considered from this
OF DISTRICT NURSING organisation suggesting the possibility of
arranging a Match in aid of the Centenary
appeal. It was agreed that this request
was not favoured.
