
1st meeting July 2nd 1894 Meeting of Directors held Monday July 2nd 1894 Present Messrs Mahon, Read, Clayton, Coates, Leyland, Griffiths, Wilson, & Baxter. Chairman Resolved Mr. Mahon take the Chair. Election of Resolved in accordance with resolution of General Directors meeting Mr. Kelly be elected a Director. Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed. Chairman & Resolved Mr. Coates be appointed Chairman Deputy Chairman of Directors. of Directors Resolved Dr. Baxter be appointed Deputy Chairman. Sub Committees The following Gentleman were elected to form the & their duties different Sub Committees as follows Finance - Messrs Wilson, Leyland, Read, Clayton, and Kelly, with power to examine Books, sign cheques, attend to receipts & expenditure & further that they have power to call in the assistance of any other Director in connection with Gate arrangements &c. Ground - Messrs Wilson, Baxter, Kelly, Leyland, & Griffiths with power to effect repairs &c. at cost not over £10. Advertising - Messrs Atkinson, Clayton & Baxter with power to enter Contracts for hoarding, match cards & general advertising of the Club.
