First Meeting of Directors held Monday June 21st 1897
Present		Dr. Baxter (in the chair) Messrs Bainbridge, Brooks,
		Clayton, Crawshaw, Davies, Kelly, Keates & Prescott.
Minutes of previous meetings read & confirmed also Annual
		General Meeting.
Chairman &	Resolved Mr. Clayton be elected Chairman for
Vice Chairman	the ensuing season.
of Directors	Resolved Mr. Kelly be elected Vice Chairman.
Sub Committees	The Secretary to send out full list of Sub Committees
& their Duties	& their duties. The appointments to be made at
		the next meeting.
Teams Committee	This recommendation from Shareholders to be
		considered at next meeting.
Day & Hour of Meeting Resolved we meet on Mondays at 7.0.
Quorum		Resolved Five form a quorum.
Season Tickets	Resolved the charges be as last year & that
		tickets be issued to Special Resd. Stand at 30/-
		a seat to be guaranteed but not numbered.
Players on	Resolved we sign on League forms Mackay & Fraser
League Forms	paying them £10 each & Little (Agent) £5 on each.

| 286 | Resolved that Elliott be engaged as Assistant Trainer & Groundsman to play when required. | 
| 295 | Resolved to give Stoke £20 for the transfer of Maxwell & to find him a place in a solicitors’ office. | 
| 365 | Resolved to give 11 players medals for winning the Combination Championship |
