offered by them to us for the transfer of
Kirwan & it was resolved that Messrs
Mahon, Baxter & Clayton represent the
club at the next League Committee
Meeting: Dr. Baxter reported that the
Chelsea director had made such offer
to him.
On the recommendation of the ground
Committee it was resolved that
the Home dressing room & the panelling
in front of ground stand be painted
and that 2 joiners be engaged to make
stile boxes &c: the arrangement of the
telegraph board was left with the
Ground Committee.
S. B. Ashworth It was resolved that the Secretary be
instructed to intimate to S. B. Ashworth
if & when he enquired, that we regret
that we are unable to avail ourselves
of his services next season.
McDermott The consideration of this player was
ordered to remain in abeyance for the
present.
The Chairman having expressed the opinion
that too great a quantity of mortar was
being used in the erection of the new offices,
the Secretary was instructed to write the
Architect thereon & to ask that the work
receive greater supervision.
