Stewart The Secretary reported having obtained
permission to approach Stewart
that he had written to him & expected
a reply daily : Resolved that the
matter be treated as urgent & the
Chairman & Secretary were empowered
to offer Sheffield Wednesday up to
£1000 for his transfer.
Woods & The Secretary was instructed to write
Jones Woods & Jones to submit themselves
to Dr. Broad for examination.
L'pool Corpon. The Secretary reported that the Cos.
Stk. Investment Broker had on behalf of the Co. purchased
£4250 L'pool Corporation stock at a cost
(including Brokerage & fees) of £4428.7.6
and that he had received the Corporation
Certificates for £4200 of such stock with
an intimation that a further £50 was to
be forwarded. Approved.
Barlow The Secretary reported that Barlow had
not yet received his papers from Preston
North End.
Office requisites The Secretary was instructed to
obtain what was necessary with Mr.
Kirkwood's approval.
